Funk Licks Series 1 with James Morton

Funk Licks Series 1 offers a simple and easy progression through a range of funky licks.

Each of the six lessons in the series features two new Funk Licks, with James deconstructing each lick and slowly talking you through the composition of each, as well as offering some tips around how to practice them. At the end of each lesson there is no messing around; the backing track is played and you can get straight into practicing the pair of licks James has taught you in the lesson.

As well as these 12 new Funk Licks you can enjoy the example solo of James playing them with the backing track blasting in the background.
