In Major 2,5,1’s Series 3, James helps you to build on the fantastic lessons learned across the first two series, while also introducing the Melodic Minor scale, using the flattened 9^th note on the dominant 7^th chord, and a look at the concept of tension and release. As Major 2,5,1’s Series 3 is a progression on the first two series, this is recommended for intermediate and advanced saxophonists. It is recommended that beginners who are new to the saxophone try the first two Major 2,5,1’s Series rather than jumping straight into Series 3.
